Connecting Chromebook with smb file path & login credentials

Been at this for a few hours now. It has driven me to make my first forum post ever. I'm trying to connect my Chromebook with smb. I've tried multiple variations of the file path. but I'm at a loss.
I'm using an Acer Chromebook 11 cb3-132. this is what the window I've been struggling with looks like.

I have an LS10D Linkstation. I'm pretty certain I have smb set up correctly. Because it works through VLC Player on every device in my home, including my Chromebook.

Any help would be apreciated, thanks.
