This morning, we just received the latest version of Mac NASnavi (this is what sends the keep-alive signal that wakes the NAS, and keeps it awake in auto-mode).

We'll be testing it for a few days, checking for bugs, before release. I'll keep you posted and get this released ASAP if all goes well.

Update - we found a bug in this revision and iJapan is working on the issue..

Mac NASNavi 2.21 is due out shortly - this is the one that has updated keep-alive packets that will work with snow-leopard to keep the units on during data transfers, when in auto-mode.

Can you please define shortly. Are we talking about something we will see in our lifetime, our is your scale of measure the creation of the universe?

2.21 beta came out in the past. It had some bugs and couldn't be released to the public.

Buffalotech Japan is now working on the release after 2.21.

:smileymad:That's rediculous !

Are they working on a new operating system or on a simply driver ? I meen you have a working program for leopard and a working program for windows. What is so complicated to make it run on snow leopard ? I just bought your new linkstation pro ls-xhl. If I knew that mess before I wouldn*t do it again. Good hardware bad software ! :smileymad:

I totally agree with the previous post!

If Buffalo would care about their customers they'd invest the development time for giving us a solution and not the 10 minutes a day they actually do now (like I assume). If Buffalo's engineers would always work that slowly, they'd never release any product.

**Try to keep to the reason for the post - to ask for help, to provide help or insight into the post question - this isn't a soapbox.

When Buffalotech Japan puts out a new FW or NASNavi revision, they always write in as many bug fixes or upgrades as they can. They rarely release a new revision with only one fix in it. Don't take this as an excuse - it's just the reason why it takes time.

Maybe they are waiting for the next release of OS X :smileyvery-happy:

3 month after Snow Leopard, OS X 10.6.2 just came out.

Hope "Buffalothech Japan" has download it!
