Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and I don't know if this is the right section.
As the subject of this post tells I have to substitute both of the disks in my LinkStation. The original disks were two WD Caviar Green WD10EARX 1TB each. Now I want to replace them with two WD Caviar Blue WD10EZEX 1TB each too, but when I turn the power on with the new configuration, instantly the red error lights up and switches off, then the blue power led starts blinking for about ten seconds and finally the red error led starts flashing 6 times, off for a couple of seconds, 6 times red and so on. If I press the function button on the rear side, the blue power led starts flashing continuously and never stops (tried for several hours). Is there some procedure I can follow to re-enable my nas with the new disks?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Once the red light starts to flash (E06) you will need to TFTP the unit to put the boot files onto the new HDDs, once this is done it will go into EM mode and you just apply a firmware update.
