I think the problem is in the new version of the DLNA twonky server, it seems to have trouble whit the avi files...

>no problem palying avi's here on firmware 1.6

What are you playing them on?  Sony TV, Panasonic TV, Samsung TV?

Thanks

migzy

avi's and mkv's playing both successfully on my samsung ue32d5520 and avi's playing fine on PS3

Repeating from Solan:  Access LinkStation IP address    http://IP-address:9050   and select Maintenance, then click Rebuild database.  Do this if you are not seeing your AVI or other filetypes.

Also my browser window didn't show the completion notice, stuck at "wait for restart".

Mac OS X 10.7.4, Safari 5.1.7 (7534.57.2), LS-WXL

Please open a new browser and navigate to the LS GUI, it should show that it was updated. We are investigating why certain browsers are not showing completion.

After udating the firmware to 1.6 the build in torrent client on the Buffalo linkstation stoped working (seed & peers 0).

I switched off/ on the torrent client and did also the "initialize bittorrent setings"

Nothing works- seed & peers are still for all torrent files 0.

Please advise what to do.

Torrent also won't work. Try  initialize torrent setting and reboot. Still not downloading any torrents.. What should I do?

update 15 July 2012: it is now working. I still don't know why. What I did was reset the whole NAS to factory default, afterwhich it still didn't work; but now it is working!

update 16 June: it can't download again. Seeding the downloadedfiles are working. Strange!

Same here. BT is not working

The logger tells me: "JS error: [778] Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property '262' of null"

I have exactly the same issue with my Linkstation. The BT-client doesn't do a thing anymore since I updated to the latest version ...

Anybody who has a soluion?

I've used firefox 13 to view the DLNA server on browser, 'cause on IE9 I can't see the buttons

I hope (and wait) for a new release of firmware

Well it would appear everyone is experiencing the same issues. Me too. Any fixes?? I don't want to revert to the previous firmware but do I have a choice? A lot of my avi files no longer show on my samsung and sony blu-ray players, but some of them are working. And doing a rebuild of the database in twonky does not bring them back. I'm also not able to watch a lot of mp4 video files anymore, that I have watched before on these players.

The linkstation is also CONSTANTLY disconnecting. This is unacceptable!!! Is there a fix??
