I have bought one of these devices and it is RUBBISH. You are selling it under false pretences. You claim it can be used to remotely access files yet fail to mention it won't work with Internet Explorer (whether the IT intelligencia like it or not, still the most popular browser).

Its a dust gatherer. Next to useless. Where do you think that one can find the required internet speeds while "remote" accessing ? I can barely get it to function when I am on my home network.

Wish I had gone for anothe manufacturers device cos this thing is terrible ! ! !

I'm more than happy with my device and use it on a daily basis. Using it in conjunction with the pogoplug application for Windows and so it appears as a local HDD either im at home or not, speed has never really been an issue. While accessing it locally on my gigabit LAN it is as fast as any of the other NAS's i have.

Of course remote access is limited by my upload speed this is most certainly nothing to do with the device itself.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

Hi Davo. You seem like a senior poster in these threads. I have a question for you.

So I have a Buffalo Cloudstation CS-X 2TB too, LAN connected to my Aztech DSL5008EN (300mbps Wireless N). I access it via Wifi, making sure only using 802.11n.

Problem is my write speed only ever go max of 9 MBps. The advertised speed is 41.5 MBps!

Please tell me what I can try to debottleneck this :/
