Bittorent not Working after Firmware update

i manage to get it work sometimes by

 

1) put in the torrent u wanted, stop all task. then paste this RAW Data from here http://pastebin.com/Mwcxq3ei#">http://pastebin.com/Mwcxq3ei#  (thanks to DickeFix & Goon) into ur torrent URL

 

2) it run connect to run and download, u see a complete.gz, let it run a while

 

3) after that, start ur torrent and initially it will be zero and then it will magically start download!

 

i dont knw whether it will work for u, good luck to all.

im a LS-XL7C0, firmware 1.60

 

have tried mozilla, safari and chrome. all does not work.

 

im using a mac os lion 10.7

My model LS-CHL 2TB

 

It was with firmware 1.56, it started with this torrent issue, then I upgraded to 1.60 and made a Factory Reset, it still has the same problem.

 

Tried with IE 9 and Google Chrome latest version...

 

The temporary fix adding the complete.gz torrent before each torrent to donwload worked, but it is unpractical for me this fix... We need a real fix from Buffalo...

1. Stop torrent

2. Right click torrect

3. Properties

4. From Tracker add: http://tracker.ccc.de/announce">http://tracker.ccc.de/announce, Trackers (separate tiers with an empty line)

udp://tracker.istole.it:80/announce

 

http://tracker.ccc.de/announce">http://tracker.ccc.de/announce

 

5. press Ok

6. Start Torrent, you're torrent should start downloading now

 

most torrent now have udp:// from the tracker, i think that is the reason why the torrents are not downloading

this doesn't work for me as I can't add ANY torrent so therefore can't add the tracker (apart from the the complete.gz one)

Had already proposed this solution worked well for me.

Propertis of the torrent and put http://tracker.ccc.de/announce" rel="nofollow">http://tracker.ccc.de/announce to tracker then restart de torrent.

work for me. FW 1.60

I know that is not the correct place to ask this question.
My network is Gigabit speed but can not exceed 20mg / s, find very little to a Gigabit network, someone has an idea?

Hi Brian any idea on a timescale for a fix? If it's going to be a while then I'm gonna wanna get my money back and buy an alternative. Please update us (even if it's not with a fix...just with what's going on etc.) Hope it's good news soon. cheers Rob

Browser does not matter, this is not a gui problem. This is a problem with the torrent client built into the buffalo nas products.

But for the record I have used both windows 7 and mac osx lion with different browsers.

You asking for browser version is a bit disturbing thou since it doesn't make me confident that you really are digging into the problem.

Does anybody with these models like LS-CHL with firmware 1.56, 1.58 and 1.60 have the bittorrent client 100% working? Or is it a general problem on every unit?

 

For me the main reason that I bought the Buffalo NAS was the Utorrent client built in, but now with this major problem it doesn't worth nothing...

 

Buffalo Support team could at least keep us informed about what is going on, or let's say, if they even know what's wrong so far...

hi Sergioi, mine is LS-CHL 1.58 firmware and my bittorrent won't work at all. I agree. If this isn't fixed soon I'm going to ask for my money back (one of the main reasons we (we have 2 in our family) bought it also). If anybody from buffalo is reading this please give us an update.
