phpmyadmin default password not working

as per subject,

 

i own a linkstation qvl, and when i tried to logon to phpmyadmin for the first time, it did not register the default password of admin/password.

 

any idea what i'm doing wrong?

Try just admin with no password.

I have the same problem - but if i use 'admin' without password i got 'Login without a password is forbidden by configuration (see AllowNoPassword)'

Where i can change tihs setting?

Access to the phpMyAmin-subfolder is forbidden :-(
