Greetings,

I recently purchaced a Linkstation Mini (500G/250G).

Personally, I find it usefull to have "array"s (multiple) which are smaller than the entire drive space. This allows me to: A) place a size constraint on shares residing on the array, B) use a smaller external backup medium for each "array" and C) confine disk usage to one section or portion of the disk.

While reconfiguring my Mini from 500G Raid0 to 250G Raid1, there was not an option to use less than the entire disk for "array1" wherein you then could create a "array2", "array3" and so forth.

Is there an option to create more than ONE array using the internal disks and I just missed it?

Mark.

Unfortuantely no, there's only one Array on the mini that can be conifigured.  The TeraStation products can support 2 arrays, but only if you're using RAID1 (mirrored pairs) for the drive configuration.
