Upgrade Firmware on a Mac Only environment

I haveboth a fiorst generation terastation and a Linkstation CHL, that have never had their firmware updated.  The mac compatible updater does not recognize any of the NAS..  Is there a viable way of upgrading both machines, without a windows computer?

The firmware is windows only.

I know this is real old but if anyone still has the question I'm doing it on mac with wine.   It's a long way around I simply do not have a windows box anywhere.  We literally have over 20,000 systems at work (linux) and no windows anywhere.
