TS-RXL and TS-XL replication

Hey all,

 

Ive been trying to setup replication between a TS-RXL and a TS-XL for about 2 hours now and maybe I dont get something regarding its setup. Ive done the google FAQ and Forum searches with no luck.

 

Setup:

Both units are FW 1.30

Both Units on same subnet

Both Units using Active Directory

Both Units have FIRE/WATER PROOF USB Units attached

"View NAS Devices" on both units can see each other

On the Target I have a Shared folder with no restrictions called "BACKUP"

When I click the target I can only see the USB-DISK@ts-rxl.

 

The TS-XL unit will soon be moved over a large segmented SUBNET link to another office for offsite stroage so please dont mention connecting the two units together physically.

you need to tick "Disk Backup" in the shared folder of the destination Terastation.
