Hello, I would like to know what is the twonkymedia version used on LS-XHL with firmware 1.31 / 1.32 / 1.33 and 1.34. When do you think the v6 twonkymedia will be include in the firmware? Other question, is it possible to manage the default directory create by the DLNA server (order by date ...)? I prefer without any directory. Thanks

The Media Server settings allow you to specify which root folder to pull from and from there the media devices will see those folders and files.  How you arrange the folder structure is up to you.  I don't know when a new version of Twonky will be implemented as I don't have a direct pipeline to our firmware developers.  Generally, with firmware developments and updates we're left in the dark because, if we say a feature will be added and there's a last minute bug or what not that causes it to be taken out then the rest is pretty self-explanatory.

I already set a root folder, but the media server generate fake folder for the DLNA player. For exemple, I put only videos in VIDEO folders, i set VIDEO as my root folders. In my DLNA player connected to linkstation i have some fake folders like (date, recent, all folders, ...) this fake folders was create by the linkstation because with an other DLNA server i havn't this folders. You don't answer to my first question. Do you know the version of twonkymedia is in 1.31 and 1.34. Thanks

I would realy like to know this also.

1.24 apparently has the older version that works with my xbox 360 and so I have had to roll back to this but I would like the most up to date firmware without the painfull DTCP-IP function.

My entire collection of DVD's are on the drive and I cannot watch a single one through my 360 :manmad:

Your websites all say they support the 360 this is not support !

Apparently you can open your NAS and install the firmware and Twonky combo you want but I would rather stick with retail for warrenty.

If someone can supply a newer firmware than 1.24 with the right version of Twonky I would be most greatfull.

This guy did it himself http://forums.buffalotech.com/t5/Solved-Storage-Threads/LS-XHL-and-AVI-streaming-to-XBOX-360/m-p/36005#M3795" rel="nofollow">http://forums.buffalotech.com/t5/Solved-Storage-Threads/LS-XHL-and-AVI-streaming-to-XBOX-360/m-p/36005#M3795

I beleve a chap called shonk can do this as he seem to know more than some of the mod's but his website aint up and I cant for the life of me find a download link.

Yea, i believe it does say the Xbox 360 is supported and know it works since users with a 360 are posting about it. However, on newer firmwares it won't let certain media such as AVI's stream. If this has to do with the media server provided, please include the newer versions in future updates!

Problem is XBOX 360 does not support DTCP-IP and so newer firmware just wont streem anything !

It would be nice if you could disable the DTCP-IP but I understand why you would not allow this, Piracy and all.

Surly we cannot force the use of DTCP-IP untill all hardware supports it !
