linkstation with bittorrent - bittorrents don't download

Hiya

Just got the linkstation live with bittorrent and updated it to newest firmware (update program didn't run on vista so used a mac)  but any torrent I use doesn't actually download. It can see seed and peer information in brackets but its not connected to any of them and just stays at 0% I've tried public and private torrents but it still doesn't work. Anyone got anyideas where I can go from here?

   well just call me impatience guss - they started working - both private and public. this device is perfect :-)
