TS-HTGL/R5 F/W 1.33 Keeps turning off.

I have had this unit for about three years, since the start of 2010 it has begun turning itself  off every few days.

I upgraded the firmware from 1.31 to 1.33 over the weekend but this did not help.

When it is up and running all seems to be well.

I have configured notifications of error conditions to be sent to my email id but I do not see any errors like over heating.

It is connected to an APC UPS, so power 'sags' should not be the issue.

I have not been at the unit to see the LCD panel just before it powers off. It seems to startup again just fine once I push the power button.

If the firmware updated successfully, and the unit is placed on a UPS, sounds like the problem is more internal.  It is hard to determine, are there any errors across the LCD screen or within the web interface?  If the problem is indeed something on the main board there is no way to remedy a problem like this.  Also please check to make sure the switch is in the manual position as well as there are no power saver settings enabled within the unit

Firmware appears to have updated properly.

I have not actually been looking at it when it did one of these spontaneous power-offs so I could not say if there is an error message on the screen fleetingly.

What switch? I cannot find any switches.

The manual and the web admin interface do not speak of any power saving options.

 

I have noticed that the powerdowns are sometimes correlated to disturbances in my LAN (my Cisco IP phone drops off the LAN hand has to reconfigure. I do not know which comes first though.
