Hi everyone.  I've tried reading other posts and google-ing but I haven't been able to figure anything out.

I bought a Buffalo Hard Drive (hd-ce500u2) about a year ago in Japan and was previously using it with my PC.  But I've recently switched over to a Macbook Pro and would love to switch all my data over.  Is there a way to use it with my macbook?

I've tried plugging it in the usb but nothing happens and nothing shows up.

If anyone can help me, that would be great!  Thanks!!!

The 500 GB partition is most likely formatted to NTFS (you can confirm this by hooking up the drive to your PC and going into My Computer, right-clicking on the drive and choosing properties).  NTFS is not a compatible file system with Mac, however there might be some 3rd party tools out there in which case I would suggest searching Google.com with the "NTFS use with Mac OSX".
