Hi everyone

I have some found answers here but not to all of my questions.

First

I have a LSL HS-DH500GL.

Firmware ver. 2.21

Ser # 99883380211352

Fan voltage

Black & Yellow     3.3

Red & Yellow       3.3

Black & Red         0.0

Power is through an APC backup

I have it in my home network rack so I don't hear any beep's. The only way I know it's

not working is a pop up on my laptop with a "mapped network drive is not available"

When I check it, the power LCD is out and it has a slow blinking orange info LCD.

I did some trouble shooting and it was in EM mode. When I tried the firmware update, it

went all the way through reboot and gave me the ACP STATE FAILURE error. but when I

started the NAS Navigator it came up updated and everything seems to be working.

Now the questions.

Is the fan on a thermostat? when I got it back up the fan didn't come on. It did run at some point because I stuck

a small piece of paper in it, and it had moved.

and what is the slow blinking orange LCD code.

If this was a heat related problem I have moved it lower in my rack and have the side cover off until I get this

all worked out.

TIA
