I have a terastation pro, it came with 1 tb, I am putting 4 1.5 tb drives in it, they are all seagates, but the tera station seems to fail formatting some of them to xfs, is there any other way for me to do this/? they are all exactly the same drive, and some format ok, some don't.... this is very confusing,

i formatted on drive in linux with xfs and it still fails to mount.

I am on latest firmware.

thanks for everyones help in advance!

If you are upgrading drive in a Terastation they will need to be swapped 1 at a time, formatted, synced to the array, this will be done 4 times, than 5th time is a full restructure
