Disable UPNP / STOP ME HOUSEMATE KNOWING MY LS IS CONNECTED

Hi guys and girls, please bare with me as this is my 1st post :)

 

A few weeks back i brought a LS Live, all was going well untill my housemate came home (hes my landlord too) and went mad because he came home to find my LS live drive showing on his vista machine, and he could see my files. Hes not very computer-fide and threw a fit saying i couldnt have anything conncted to the router (he only wants it for internet access) so.. what ive done is brought a belkin gaming router (which acts as a bridge) so now the LS live is on the network and working again out of site from him however i dont want him seeing the drive over the network can i disable this within the LS live webpage? ive been told i need to disable UPNP however if this needs doing via the router i cannot because in his fit of panik hes changed the router username and password so i cant change things.

 

any help would be great

Without access to the router itself, this is pretty much not possible.

MIght i add, on a side note, that your landlord sounds like a pr**k also :P J/K

since you already have a router of your own, you could try creating a subnet only for your components. Or you could simply reset his router and change the settings :) (see how much fit he throws)
