Hi!

I'm using my LS-CHL for steaming with my TV, so I have to set the LS-CHL to "On".

Is there a way to auto spin-down the hard disk after x minutes of inactivity?

Think I read some older post in this forum, that this is not yet fully implemented in the LS-CHL firmware. Presently the Admin GUI allows to enable the Disk Spindown, but it has practically no effect.

As I understand the LS power saving design, Disk Spindown is essential for streaming and web access, where Wakeup-on-LAN (switch in AUTO position) does comparably not help.

Also I am hoping that both - Disk and Fan - will allow spin down in the future.
