Media server disappearance after latest firmware update

Hey all,

Just upgraded the firmware on my linkstation LS-WXL12d from 1.24 (I think) to 1.26 (definitely). No snags with the installation of the new firmware and all seemed to be going swimmingly.

However, after it re-booted I couldn't log into web access using Chrome (the common "session expired" error message) but can log in using IE8 without any dramas. Have tried clearing cookies etc to no avail. No dramas with it, but it's a bit of a faff.

Secondly, and far more importantly, the Linkstation no longer appears to be functioning in the "media server" sense. It doesn't appear to my Onkyo receiver, my PS3 or in the UPnP section on my laptop running XP. I've tried "restart media server" from Webaccess, and all the settings seem to be as they were before the firmware update, but it simply doesn't appear as a server to any of my devices. I've tried restarting the whole lot, tried searching for media servers on the ps3, etc etc but to no avail. I can still access all the files through my laptop through explorer, but that is all.

Any help much appreciated as this is the main reason for having the NAS box in the first place!

Regards,

John
