PS3 not always seeing music

Just wondered if anyone else comes across this issue. 

 

Sometimes when I add a new folder of music to my linkstation, my ps3 does not see it, as in its just not there when I try playing it. Its happened a few times now and cant seem to work out why. Ive restarted everything and even removed the music and trying putting it back on. 

 

I have loads of albums on my NAS and they all show up ok.

 

Also, i can clearly see the music is on the NAS from my laptop and I can also access it from my iphone so it must be an issue with the ps3 seeing the new stuff I add.

 

A few days ago I added a large back catalogue and the same thing happened, I was able to see it on my iphone but not the ps3. Yet when I checked today it had appeared!

 

Any ideas please?

Just to add, its also doing it with movies too. WHY!!?? :(
