Ok I have configured the LS-WXL unit to having 2 Segate 500mb drives in Raid 1, everything was working find for 1 day then  I started getting this message

Drive 1 had too many critical sectors , running in degrade mode ( fine drive 1 failed now only running on drive 2)

BUT the unit now just boots up to EM mode and no matter what I do I cannot get the unit to at least boot up with the single drive.

I had recently upgraded my FW to 1.26  and here is the best part!

Ok the unit is now stuck in EM mode saying UPDATE FIRMWARE OR CONTACT TECHNICAL SUPPORT

so I try and use the FW upgrade utility it goes through all the transferring of all the files and reboots the linkstation etc.. then it comes back with this error!

I reboot and Again all I get is this

NAS2 Errorhttp://www.airshare.com/img/NASNAV2.jpg">

My unit is STUCK IN PERPETUAL EM MODE

Please I need help in getting my NAS out of Limbo!!!!!

Is there ANYONE from tech support that reads this forum??

I really need this a fix for this ASAP, I just bought this unit less then 30 days ago and Now I have pretty much lost all my data and I was running your RAID 1

and I thought my previous western digital NAS was bad. I wish I had gone with the linksys instead!
