How To Setup Backup on LS-XHL

I have an LS-XHL LinkStation Pro set up with an external, USB drive. I want to perform automatic backups to this external drive and have formatted to XFS.

I have 4 shares on my LinkStation Pro that I want backed up to this one USB drive. Everytime a backup is performed the LinkStation starts with the first share, making the external drive match that first share, then goes to the next share which totally deletes the backup of the previous share. This goes on until all that is left on the external drive is a backup of ONLY the last share of the LinkStation Pro.

I read another post that said there will be "issues" if you have mutiple shares going to a single, external drive so I chose the option to "create backup folders" which created a directory called "_backups" but the same process described above occurs where the only thing left under the _backups directory is the last share on the LinkStation Pro.

Logically, then, I'm thinking I should create 4, corresponding shares on the external drive for each share on the LinkStation Pro I am trying to backup but there does not seem to be a way to create a share on the external drive.

I'm hoping someone has experience with this issue!
