I am trying to upgrade the Twonky software on my HS-DH500GL and it looks like the TwonkyMedia software attempts to telnet to the 9000 port on the NAS, but this does not seem to be possible and the software does not connect.

 

Can anyone tell me why the NAS would not accept a Telnet command (to any port for that matter)?

 

It is on the network as I can HTTP to it.

The use of telnet is not supported with our products and using it voids the warranty.  Please read our user guidelines before posting as this is prohibited on our boards.  Your last post has been removed and continuing to discuss it could result in being banned from these forums.
