I have a link station raid and have a printer and a Seagate USB 2.0 FreeAgent drive connected to it on macs running snow leopard.  I set up a backup from the link station to the USB drive and all works well - the files back up - everything is cool.  Strangely, I can't access certain folders on the USB backup drive.  Some I can though.  I have no access permissions enabled on the link station and my permissions on those folders on the link station is for all users.  I tried to reformat the USB drive from XFS to FAT to see if that would affect anything and nope - same thing.  Its just this one folder that it wont let me in to. And that's the most important one!  Thoughts?

Through the Mac did you specify any permissions to that folder from the OS? I also appreciate the clarity of information but we also need to know a model and firmware version of your NAS.  Thank you.
