I own a LS-250GL unit I'd like to use as FTP server so my ip-can store their videos on it.
With the previous, dead Chili lowest budged unit everything was going well.
Now switching to LS I keep on receiving messages from the cams that the directors specified doesn't exist.
I tried one user/password for all cams as well as individual user names, no joy.
Also tried no user assignment as well as the individual cams assigned to the recordings folders.
Folders are configured for Windows and FTP
With my Windows PC I can see and access the folders without any problems

Please, can anyone shed a light on this?

If I knew how to attach screenshots I would

You sure you're using the correct path on the cam? It should be IP/disk1/sharename
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

Different unit, but same problem:
With my TS-HTGL no joy accessing the units shared folder in ftp mode.
HDDs configured as RAID5

Any advice appreciated

Thanks for the reply
That's what I tried, but still no joy :-(

Can you access ftp://IP/array1/ from a browser on a PC?

Post a screenshot of what it shows when you do.

Some cameras can't negotiate FTP via TLS 1.0, and some can. That may be the issue. This unit was new when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and that's what it uses.
**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
