LinkStation Quad - LS-QL/R5 will not allow me to edit Group information

I've logged in as admin, and all settings are available to me and can be edited, with the exception of Group Management. Nearly all settings in this area are in a read-only mode, with the exception of the "Add" button, which will allow me to create a new group.

I've tried forcibly reloading the firmware (which succeeded), and turning off my firewall. None of this has made a change in my inability to edit existing Groups.

The firmware version is 1.10.

My OS is Windows 7.

Thanks in advance,

Carl

Did you creat a new user?  You cannot edit the default groups.

Yes, I was able to create two new users, which are both part of the "hdusers" group.

So...you can't edit the default groups? I had a feeling this might be the case, although I wasn't able to gather that information from either the online help, or the manual. Both of these suggested that you can click the the name of the group, and proceed to edit it.

Evidently, they're talking about custom groups only?

Thanks,

Carl
