Hi,
I updated a shared drives firmware at work this morning and promptly lost access to the drive from the XP computers.
Don't come at me about the XPs, we have legacy software that doesn't port.

I noticed One XP computer still connected, and it was one that i had a created a user for in order to access a private drive.

So, i created a user that had no permissions for the XP computers without access and low an behold, i could access the drive again.

This seems like a software bug to me, and I'm hesitant to update any other of my shared storage drives since i done want to keep having to create users (which is tedious)

Just thought I would share (and maybe Buffalo could fix the bug)
