Hi,

Concerned about error message, got a couple of hundred during read of USB via email from nas, similar to below.

It would appear to related to using an usb drive and reading from this, hope its not the nas drive, The usb seems to become invisible at times and needs to be remounted. USB format is NTFS, using win7 and only doing read into NAS. NAS a couple of days old.

Advice/feedback appreciated.

First thing what model is your linkstation? I'm assume its a LS Quad from the "LS-QL815 (LinkStation)" but I just want to be sure. Second are you just trying to copy something from linkstation to the usb (attached to a win7 computer?) or are you using disk backup off the unit or any other software to do it?

The errors don't seem to indicate a bad nas but you could try copying to computer then to the usb or try a different usb as well just to see if any of that makes a difference.
