HD-CELU2 / USB and LAN problem

Have just purchased a Buffalo HD-CELU2 Drivestation

 

Installed the unit to computer A with USB only and copied files to the unit without problems

 

Then I installed the unit to computer B with USB connection and could see the files

 

Then I went through LAN connection setup. The result was that I could see the shared folder but not any of the files copied in USB mode. The files are still visible when using USB. How to get them to the LAN folder ?

 

I assume this is sharing / authorization issue. Is there any way to set the files visible / accessible to the LAN side (except of course by taking new copies in LAN mode - not preferable as it is different network and the possibility to use both LAN and USB was the main reason for purchasing the Bullalo HD-CELU2 Drivestation)

 

Both computers A and B are on XP.

When you transfered the files across in USb mode, di you save them in the "share"folder or did you create a new folder at the same level?

In order to access data via LAN it needs to be saved in that default shared folder.

I started to use the unit with USB mode and LAN mode was not installed so there was no "shared" folder, at least I did not look for it

 

So the files are not saved in shared folder - any way to move them to shared except copy to another external disc and then back to "shared" ?
