Can I use an external drive housing connected to my computer USB to copy images from the 4 hard drives in my Terastation Live to 4 larger drives? Then install the larger drives to have a larger NAS?

If not, I assume I can replace all 4 drives, run TFTP and then install firmware, correct?

Sorry i don't follow, I would recommend backing up all your data, not the image of each disk, and then try to upgrade your device.  Which is not supported by us.
