RAID 5 Configuration properties for Linkstation Quad LS-QL/R5 Firmware 1.05

Hello All,

 

I'm recovering my data on a Linkstation Quad LS-QL/R5, Firmware 1.05, configured for RAID 5.

Does anybody know what the default parameters for the RAID config are?

 

I can successfully create a virtual RAID array with UFS Explorer and after scanning etc, can see some of my data with correct filenames and sizes. The problem is that when I go to copy them off, the files will not open. They still retain the correct filename and size.

I have used the following config:

- Stripe size: 64KB

- RAID5 parity distribution: Left-Symmetric (backward-dynamic)

- Parity length (stripes): 1

I have a feeling that my stripe size or parity length is incorrect.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
