It's infuriating not having any thumbnails on my PS3 for my list of movies, especially as this worked brilliantly when I used to use "PS3 Media Server" software.

After hunting around on the internet, (after not having this listed in the faq) I found lots of people all wishing this was possible.

I was going to reply to your suggestions post, but it seems to be locked.

Can someone confirm that currently there is no way for a Linkstation Live LS-CHL to display video thumbnails on the PS3, so at least I know not to waste any more time.

The thumbnails you are talking about is called Album Art. I have begged for it and its not going to happen. It is not possible when using your Linkstation as a Media Server. The problem is in media server software being used. (Twonky) which is about 2-3 revisions too old and will never be updated because Twonky has decided not to support NAS devices any more. That is one story, the other story is that in order to get a new version of Twonky there would have to be license fees and Buffalo doesnt want to pay for it. So to answer your question, there is no way to do it for now. Sorry
