I have 100gb initial backup job that needs to take place.  I have two Linkstations and I would like to run the job first with both on the same network and then move one of them to our data center.  The only difference will be an IP address change.  If I run the job first, then move one to the data center and change the IP address, will the job still perform properly or will it try and recreate the backup job from scratch?  The name of the Linkstation will remain the same.

Yes that should be fine, just remember to change the IP address!
