LinkStation LS-WTGL/R1-V3 and Samsung SCX-4200 worked a few month and then suddenly stopped

Dear all,

 

I'm using a LinkStation LS-WTGL/R1-V3 and the printer/scanner device Samsung SCX-4200.

The installation was without any problem and everything worked fine for some month.

 

Suddenly I can not print anymore. This happend in August 2009 and unfortunately I could not fix the problem. I had also not enough time.

In the queue of the printer are still 3 documents, called Remote Downlevel Document, which can not be deleted.

 

I tried to delete the print by web interface function, "delete printer queue". I restarted the LinkStation several times, the printer, too.

I checked the intranet and this forum, so I tried the function Maintenance, Initialization, Restore, but the 3 documents are still there.

Now I deleted last the time printer queue by web interface and unfortunatly no solution. The name of the linkstation is now http://ls-wtgl4f0 and all right or user profiles are lost.

 

I checked all of this with an second pc but also there in the printer queue appears that 3 documents.

 

I' m close to buy a network printer instead of loosing here time or does somebody has a solution for me.

What you can try to do is update to the lastest firmware and then Reinit the Unit through the Web Admin.
