Preventing files in LS720 trashbox folder from upload to Dropbox via sync

I am using the DropBox cloud storage sync option on my LS720, and I find that files in the "trashbox" folder are being uploaded.
I see how I can filter by extension and the Hidden attribute, but not how I can filter out deleted files in the trashbox.
Is this possible, and if so how can I implement it?
