I have firmware version 1.07. I ma running mac OS 10.4, Tiger. I have Mac Navigator 2.22. I can connect to the drive using it's ip address in 'Finder". However, I can never scan and find the drive from NAS Navigator.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Try to mount it manually.  Get the ip address of the buffalo, then go to go and then to connect to server.

Try:

afp:// ip of buffalo

or

 smb:// ip of buffalo

ex //10.0.0.5 or //192.168.1.4

Then try to mount the shared folder by selecting it.  Login as guest.  Then you should have access.

Are you hardwired or wireless to the router?  Do you have any special firewalls/protective software?  If so unplug/disable them.

I can access the drive shares by connecting through smb shares.  However, I can not see the drive through navigator 2.22.

How did you get the IP address of the unit?  If you can mount the shares and see the data then it is just some kinda of software error with Nas Navi.  You do not have to have Nas Navi on your Pc to utilize the unit.
