Update Drive Navigator on MiniStation

Hi,

at first, I am a german guy, so please be patient with me and my bad english.

 

Yesterday I got my MiniStation HD-PX250U2/BK. Because it didnt work on my Windows 7 System, I downloaded the newest DriveNavigator 1.10. Is there any possibility to put this software on the emulated CD Drive? I can't find any way to update it.

You will have to make sure you go to your Regional Support and see if they have the CD image availible.

Well I actually talked to the support on the the phone.

 

The guy I talked to said that it is just impossible to update the CD-Drive. And it sounded like they won´t do anything to change that.

 

Im pretty sad about that, because its a very good product!

Wow, really? You shipped the drive w/ the inability to update the actual encryption or major feature (Turbo USB) to work w/ Windows 7? Who's idea was that? Wow...

 

So this HAS been fixed, right?
