Linkstation Live LS-CHL stuck in em mode?

Hello!

I have Linkstation Live 500Gb, the black model with bittorrent (LC-CHL). I'm using it with few computers through a Netgear router.

The Linkstation worked fine for few days and then it just started to blink blue led during the file transfer, and the file transfer was canceled. After that the blue led just kept flashing. Well i found solution for this blue led problem and managed to flash the firmware again. After that firmware update the storage had next problem; E06, six red flash after startup. Well i managed to get into em mode and updated the firmware again.

Now the problem is that the storage seems to start always in em mode, i think.

The storage starts normally and starts flashing blue led, after few second it starts to flash red/blue (blue led still burns at the background meanwhile the red flashes few seconds at the same time). The fan shuts down and the hard drive doesn't spin so fast anymore. Isn't this the em mode?

After that  red/blue led flash the storage starts to flash blue led for a while and then goes to solid blue.

After that i can see the Linkstation from Nasnavigator and i can access through wed admin.

Nas navigator shows that the storage is empty, even though i have transferred about 200 Gb files in to it.

I have tried to update the firmware again to get out from the em mode, but that doesn't help.

So are my files gone, or can i somehow get out from that em mode?

I dont think that the drive is bad, 'cos i can transfer files in to the storage now, and it works normally. The only problem is the strange led flash on the startup and all my files are gone.

I hope  someone knows what to do. Thanks.

It seems like there is something wrong with the HDD on the unit.  It keeps losing the firmware.  Have you tried the force firmware procedure yet?  If not please follow the steps in the link below.

You can try to re-create the share folder that is missing and see if it can pull anything up.
