Linkstation Live HS-DH500GL + Xbox 360 + DirecTV HR21-700 streaming?

I just purchased the HS-DH500GL with the hopes of being able to put my videos/music/pictures on 1 drive and have it stream out to my 360 and my DirecTV HR21 receiver via Media Share. 

 

A few questions, the 360 doesn't see the Linkstation at all, not listed under video/music/picture library, i did find instructions to setup Media Center first and that will make the Linkstation be seen, but is there any other way that i missed? Shouldn't the 360 detect it as a DLNA server? 

 

My DirecTV receiver sees the linkstation, but say's the music folder is empty, all the videos have an 'X' next to it and pictures only show about 203 out of 30,000 photos. I went into the Linkstation web interface and did a refresh, i also reset the receiver this did not fix that issue. Any suggestions?

 

The HS has firmware version 2.11, all videos/music and pictures are in a sub-folder under media that is being shared via PCcast. DLNA is set to allow all clients. The DTV Receiver and 360 are hardwired into my network.

Are you able to do a refresh on your xbox360?

It should work with the XBox but understand that it isn't supported as XBox is not DLNA compliant.
