SSL Certificate - self-signed not working on some browsers

With all the new updates to browsers' codebase for security and the previous discontinuing of SSL in favor of TLS certificates, the self-signed certificates created by Linkstation 200 series is now broken on most Google Chrome/Chromium, Microsoft Edge and other webkit codebase browsers. Mozilla browsers continue to allow it with warnings.

This is such a basic update but there is no way to manually do it without command line access. Additionally, the easiest way to do it is install Certbot aka 'Let's Encrypt' which is a clean package install and just works and it's FREE!!!!!!

If you have a workaround or a hack. Let's hear it.

command line access can be obtained using acp_commander:

You might be able to get something like that working under the stock firmware if it doesn't have too many dependencies.

Otherwise you can always replace the stock firmware with Debian Linux. It doesn't provide a web access alternative out of the box, but having a standard linux install would allow you to install anything you;d like to replace it.
