Hi,

I got a terastation pro 2TB and 500GB ministation lite

my problem is: does the terastation pro support attaching ministation lite as its external usb harddrive?

I have tried to do it but the terastation could not detect the ministation as external usb drive.

One weird thing is that the terastation does "feel" my ministation in a strange way: one of my disk's model name in the terastation disk array had changed to the model of the ministation

so, is there a way that i can use my ministation as external usb harddrive to my terastation?

Since the ministation lite doesnt have an external power supply im not sure if the TS could deliver enough power through the USB port alone to make it fully functional.

Have you been able to test it on an external HDD with a seperate power supply?

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

Yes, external HDD with seperate power supply works fine to the TS.

If the usb port of TS doesnt give enough power to the MS, is there a way to solve?

do you think using an usb hub with extra power supply will work?
