I would like to use my Linkstation as an external file server from 2 Vista machines. When I try to follow the Vista Backup process < want to get away from Memeo>, I get error messages about 'The network share cannot be accessed for the following reasons: Cannot create a file that already exists. PLease ensure that the network location is valid'. I know I can access this location via Windows Explorer and that it is a valid location. Any suggestions on how to get past this would be appreciated!

The problem i guess lies within a file system compatibility issue between windows ie ntfs and our buffalo devices that are xfs.  Wish I had a simple fix for it, but looks like your going to have to use memeo or manual backups.
