My linkstation was working without any problems however I suddenly couldn't connect using the Navigator. I tried to enter the EM however it didn't seem to work and now I can't connect. The linkstation was set to use a static IP of 192.168.0.69 and was directly connected to my laptop however I have now reconnected it to the wireless gateway. Is there any way to factory reset the NAS box but avoid wiping all of the data on there?

Try connecting the unit up to your computer and setting a static ip to 192.168.11.2 and see if you can ping 192.168.11.150. If you cannot ping it you may want to run the tftp boot program which you would want to call technical support which is open 24/7. If you can, try running the firmware update or see if you can access the data. Was the unit giving any kind of error codes, like six red flashes?

I will give that a go tonight although I'm pretty sure I tried that and it didn't work. I've left it hooked up to my router this morning and tried to access over the web but can't login using the password I changed it to or the default of admin and password.

There was no red flashes that I can remember and it's definitely not giving any now
