Terastation III disks

I try to order a Terastation III 8.0To but the delay are too long (4 weeks....). However they have a Ts III 2.0To available very quickly. It is possible to install 4 others hard drives of 2.0To Sata2 in the TeraStation III and format them to have 8.0To (or 6.0To in raid 5)?

Not supported by us.  You could void the warranty if it was done and any problems happend with the shell.  I would just wait for availability, even contact multiple vars.  Looks like you are going to have to wait.
