Hi guys,

Just bought a LS-CH1.0TL  (1 terabyte) Link station. Setit up on for 2 wireless laptops to access, 1 laptop XP Home (sp3) the other laptop is Vista Basic (sp1)

Once it disabled the firewalls the setup ran perfect and mapped the drives to the NAS on both. Next day trying to use the system found on both computers after a few mintues the NAS was not accessible but i could still ping it. The NAS had a DHCP IP address and the ip address had not changed

Power  the NAS down and backup again and suddenly both computers can access it again. Then few mintues later same issue of losing connection again

Checked power management on NAS and all things and HD spindown is disabled

Firmware is 1.10, tried to download new firmware from this web site but keeps telling me the serial number is invalid

Got serial number of box and also the device and they both match, verified correct numbers and everything but still web site does not allow

OK, what next??

Was nas navigator able to find the device?  You can try this site for any firmware updates you are having issues with on our website.

ftp://24.153.165.234/disk1/share/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">ftp://24.153.165.234/disk1/share/

See if you can set the device to the on setting and set a static to the device.  Also try to install nas navigator on all your devices on the network.
