Hi Folks,

I have a LS-WVL and I have it configured for two disks. Originally Disk 1 was 8TB and Disk 2 was 6TB. Today, I decided that I wanted to reverse them, so I opened the box and switched the disks. This had no effect. Now that I have my 6TB disk in the slot designated as "Disk 1" and my 8TB disk in the slot designated as "Disk2", how do I get the software to recognize that change?

Thanks for the help.

Chris.

Drive 1 is drive 1, no matter which drive bay it is in.  The firmware sets it that way.

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by switching the drives around.

Any changes to the shares have to be done in the file shaing part of the web console.
