Hi,

I understand the fan part number for ls-wvl is nidec d34666-57
may I know if the ls-wvl only work with the exact nidec d34666-57? or it compatible with other fan as well?

If it is other fan, does it really required to support tachometer feature?

The exact model should not matter as long as it has similar specs.

I believe you'll meed one with the tachometer. These devices use the tachometer to determine if the fan is spinning or not so they can show an alarm state if it isn't. If you use one without it will behave the same as with a failed fan.
