Does anyone have problems with a Linkstation Mini taking around 15 minutes to shutdown after you switch it off at the back?

Ours originally used to turn off within maybe 30 seconds after a little flashing of the linkstation light, but now it's anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes (average about 15 - 20), with nothing apparently happening except the linkstation blue light flashes rapidly.

I thought it was due to the disk space used so deleted all shares from the drive and it's not 13% full compared to about 80% previously, but still it sits there for it's allotted 15 mins. Was wondering if anyone else suffered this and had found a cure? Or even knows what it's doing. Also tried a reboot from the admin screen and that also took 15 mins.

Edit: Forgot to say it's using Firmware 1.05 which seems to be the latest one, and it's the 1TB version.

Thats not usually a good sign.  I would try force flashing the lastest firmware again.
