Hi, all,

I think the answer is no, but is just want to be shure:

I deleted  around 100 GB from my linkstation pro duo (cut ) to an external drive.

The external drive was deleted again, because i thought i still have the data.

Is there  any way tho recover this data ? I run a raid 1 on the 2 Disks, the file system is default (xfs?).

1000 Thanks for any help.

Regards

Steffen

Well, if you had the trash bin enabled on the unit when the files were deleted they should still show in there. Unfortunately in this instance RAID 1 will not aid in getting the data back since it was deleted by you rather than being lost on a dead disk.

Hi, Matt,

in fact that the data on both disks is the same, do you think that there is maybe a way to take one disk out of the box and try with a tool like ufs explorer to recover the deleted files ?

I have not added any new files to the filesystem, since i deleted the 100 GB....

Many people have had good luck with the software, however we can not support 3rd party software.
