Hello,

I own a 1.5 LS-CHL and yesterday I formatted it from web admin but after that it restarts with both status and function leds flashing with blue light.

I cannot turn it off because it coes on with blue flashing leds.

NAS navigator doesn't see it in the network.

What can I do?

thanks

Sounds like it may have lost its boot image, try the TFTP procedure

The problem was the ethernet cable not correctly plugged in.... Now i have another problem: E06 error I can boot with TFTP procedure but, after that, both NasNavigator and LSupdater don't find my LinkStation Any other suggestion? Thanks .Stefano

Does the TFTP pull the files, if so it should be found with the NAVI.  If it isn't then you have a bad HDD.  You can contact our support department for an RMA if the units under warranty.

Thanks for the answer

Just to be sure the HDD is bad I describe what I did

I started TFTP following FAQ 3 when the red light (E06) flashed using trick "Some user have reported that after the device shows the error, holding the function button down for 5 seconds can provoke the TFTP requests." described in the FAQ post.

TFTP started but LED flashed with color blue forever (I've waited for 3 hours)

I bought LS 10 days ago in Italy, what can I do for RMA?

Thank you

.Stefano
